Cherie's check-up and Insadong markets

We met Cherie and Stuart at the hospital for Cherie's check-up with her doctor. We were invited in to see the ultrasound of the baby. All is well with the baby and with Cherie. The due date was today. The English-speaking doctor told Cherie she was very strong and fit and the baby is doing well. Cherie is hoping the baby will come before Monday. That is when the doctor may decide to induce the baby. She estimated the baby's weight today as 3.4kgs.... slightly bigger than the average Korean baby. Time will tell if that is accurate.

Cherie climbing stairs, while I am travelling beside her on the escalator. Our hotel is on the tenth floor and she climbs the stairs several times a day.

Richard offered to take our back packs to the hotel and let Cherie and I continue on to Insadong Markets. We had a great time looking at all the interesting shops. I thoroughly enjoyed the very special "mother- daughter time."

Cherie took me to lunch there at a very special dumpling restaurant.

Cherie and I walked back to the hotel via the path next to the river. There was this little traditional style rest spot right next to a huge intersection with multiple lanes of traffic. The weather was milder today so it was very pleasant to be out walking.
