Steps vs Escalator. Cherie usually beat us!
Most subway maps have English translation..... but every now and then there's no English to be seen on the platform. This was one of those times. It was great to have Cherie with us to point us in the right direction. Stuart left us and went to work. We headed to the markets.
Subway steps. I was having trouble keeping up with Cherie... even when I used escalators and she used the stairs.
We had a lovely lunch in the Shinsegae department store food hall. This photos shows different types of rice you could buy by the 100 gram. The lady behind the counter motioned for me not to take photos!
Cherie took every opportunity to climb stairs.
She is so fit and well. She carries with her the stuff she needs for hospital... just in case!
