Stuttgart - Jan 4 & 5

We caught the train from Frankfurt main train station. It was a little late but we had a very pleasant ride to Stuttgart. It took about an hour and a half. Sandra met us at the train station and took us for a walking tour around the main Shopping area of Stuttgart. Stuttgart is known for quality shopping. Lots of pedestrian malls. Very interesting and attractive city, with plenty of coffee spots and lovely dept stores. It has a population of 600,000.It's the centre of those well known expensive cars.
Sandra helped me shop for a coat that actually fits me! I now look stunning in my new coat.
Day temp here is about minus 2, with snow flurries and plenty of snow on the ground.
Sandra took us to a lovely parkland area that was covered in snow. Kids were sledding which looked like heaps of fun.
Sandra and Lars and Sandra's Mum and Dad took us out to di8nner. It was a very famous Stuttgart restaurant , called Calwer Eck Braeu. It is also Stuttgart's smallest brewery. The food was delicious and served typical Swabian food ( the area around Stuttgart).
They drove us up hight to see the lights of the city.
