Pamukkale and Hierapolis

Hot Springs at Pamukkale

The ancient city of Hierapolis . We walked through the two parts: the Necropolis (the cemetery) and the "living" part.
Very interesting to see.

These photos are a bit out of order, but I think you get the picture! Today was wet and fairly cold, but quite OK for walking and sightseeing. This amazing theatre was up on the top of the hill. You can see the framework for the restorations. Two of our party got a shuttle bus to the top! The rest of us walked.
