Stuart and Cherie survived without a car of their own for over nine months! They bought a car this week and are very excited. Cherie said it was getting too difficult to manage an active Lois on the bus these days.
They borrowed my car occasionally, which worked well... but now I have it back!
Thye very much appreciated Rick's help and expertise in choosing a used car. They now have a Mitsubishi Lancer 2008 model. It's very nice and seems roomy enough for their little family.
Celebrating the transaction with some very nice Chinese students., one of whom is the former owner of the car.
Monday 14th May : taking delivery of the car at around 10 pm on a cold Canberra evening.
Cherie out in the driveway, complete with head torch,cleaning the interior late that night!
