Ephesus

We had a great day visiting Ephesus. It was wonderful to have very few tourists for the couple of hours we spent there. The sun came out and we had to take off our coats. Just as we were finishing our tour and boarding the bus, the weather changed and rain came.

This is the Virgin Mary's House on a mountain near Ephesus.

 Mary was supposedly taken here by John to be looked after .....at a house on this site......post crucifixion of Jesus.
